Frequently Asked Questions
How do I pay my rent, and when is it due?
Rent is typically paid weekly or fortnightly via direct deposit. Due dates are outlined in your lease agreement and must be paid on or before the due date to avoid arrears.
How much bond do I need to pay, and where is it held?
Bond is usually equivalent to four weeks’ rent and is lodged securely with the NSW Rental Bond Board. It is refundable at the end of the tenancy, provided the property is left in good condition.
What should I do if something in the property needs repair?
Please report all maintenance issues as soon as possible via our online form or by contacting our office directly. For urgent repairs, call us immediately.
Can I make changes to the property or hang pictures?
Any changes, including putting up hooks or painting walls, must be approved in writing by the landlord or property manager before being made.
What notice do I need to give if I want to vacate?
You must give written notice in line with your lease agreement. For fixed-term leases, 14 days' notice is required before the lease end date. For periodic leases, 21 days' notice is required.
What happens at the end of my lease?
We’ll arrange a final inspection once you vacate. Your bond will be returned after the inspection, assuming no damages or outstanding rent. We also require the property to be professionally cleaned.
